Horrible
I have them one star and they aren't worth that one. Every time I have an appointment with doctors or procedures, I get a message that they have a problem getting approval from healthy blue and these are life saving procedures being put off. My pharmacy has constant problems getting approval for meds. I've been out of breathing meds(advair) for two days because HB says it's not time for the refill, WHAT!! Truly the perfect example of why socialized medical care is a failure. I have two foster to adopt children and have been trying to reach out to this company for 2 months. They are absolutely horrible and I still haven't been able to get my children registered for the medical care app. If this was a private business, I would be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau. Healthy Blue is an absolute disgrace
Healthy blue has officially failed Foster adults. How can you assume and change someone’s insurance and then put them on a waiting list, and then boom. No insurance. No doctor appointments. No dental appointments. Nothing. Yall have absolutely failed most of us and something needs to be done to your company.
Healthy Blue NC has actually made it harder to receive the care I need- providers that accept this insurance are very limited to two networks- both are very negligent in providing care. My medication is not covered, and I have no freedom choosing providers I'm actually comfortable with. Customer service is also very unhelpful in searching for providers that accept their insurance. And providers are "listed" as accepting this insurance, when they really don't.
