Had my first appointment with a Healthwise therapist. Everything seemed to go very well. We both agreed we were a good fit. She made two more appointments for in the future. The next day I get an e-mail saying the future appointments are cancelled along with junk referrals. I've learned this is a common practice of these clinics. And if you try to contact the main desk, no one calls back. The same thing happened the week before at a different clinic. I’ve been in and out of therapy since I was a child. I’ve spent countless years of my life in various places and no one has even come close to this one. When I was told about Healthwise, I was skeptical and also pretty cynical because I’ve worked with so many people and it never seemed to “click.” I met my current therapist and over the course of 13 months, I’ve watched my life change.
