When I was first diagnosed with diabetes the doctor just announced, “You have diabetes!” and sent me on my way! I was terrified and devastated! Working for MCPS I was referred to Diabetes Healthways. The worse experience ever!!!!! I had an attack of kidney stones and had to act fast . I arrived at the ER and sat in waiting room for what seemed eternity, I reminded the receptionist that I'm in excruciating pain ( it's like giving birth or worse) and I need something for pain? It took 1 hour, pee test, 3 people asking me for a cat scan, I got pain medicine ??
