Great place. Friendly staff. It's never overcrowded. It is not a lunk gym full of lunk bros. It just for us normal people that want to get in shape. For the amenities they offer, the price is pretty reasonable. If I had one minor complaint, is that the hot tub seems to break down a lot, and it takes them for ever to get fixed. But still, I love this place!
The customer service..depends who it is. I have discussed many times that having divisive news channels on in the gym is unhealthy. We are there to focus on our health..mind body soul. When you walk in front and center is Fox News and then they have CNN off in the back. The worst..they insist it stays. When I go to places concerned with health and wellness if there is a TV, it is rotating beautiful pictures or educational information about sleep, eating exercise, etc.. FIVE STARS for Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness in North Raleigh! I love walking every day and getting a basic workout, but the weather isn’t always cooperative — from brutal summers to rain or snow. Healthtrax makes it easy. My health insurance even provides a discount (check yours too!). HEALTHTRAX really need to work on providing better customer service. I went to update my payment card and Tammie at front desk didn't know how to talk with the customers. She's rude with me as well as others! Went another day to inquire about price change in membership and spoke with TOM, he was extremely horrible and rude! Spoke to me sarcastically the whole time when I was asking him questions regarding my membership price and annual fee! Total scam!! I moved out of the state and still had to pay an extra months fee, as well as them charging me another $50 out of the blue. I was given the excuse that it was a Facility Enhancement bill, although I have already cancelled my membership. I will be making sure to let anyone I know to stay away from this place!
