This was my family Dr. Dr..Shultz was my Dr. For almost 40 years. I all this time, i have never been sent away. I walked in. I was coming in after recieving a voicemail instructing me to come in for BP check. So i did. I also just left the ER after an allergic reaction. I was told to make an appointment or go to Boardman Urgent care. Even after telling them that theybtold me to come in. My Doctor is on leave, so i had to schedule a differnt doctor. Called Monday to be come a new patient. Receptionist told me call back in a week. Will be finding another doctor. Definitely a language barrier.
You make an appointment for 8 am when they open, they tell you to show up 15 minutes early (7:45) then don't unlock the door to allow anyone inside until 8:15. You'd think the medical field would be more cordial, however these days it feels more like a sorority house than a place of medicine.
This place just adds to my medical distrust. This is the kind of place where you have to pretty much diagnose yourself. Medical professionals don't want people googling medical advice/symptoms/treatment....but I've literally gotten more help that way. I don't like to generalize because of one or two people....but this place seems to be more concerned with saving insurance companies money, rather than the care of the individual.
