I had HAP and they are horrible please beware!!! I was forced to switch they are the worst out there! Expensive and horrible service.
I'm diabetic and they won't approve my diabetes medication please help or I'm going to die without medication.
If you previously had shady employers and you got let go & think your plan is still active think again. HAP is the only insuracce plan that I know of that can back date coverage per the employers request, so you will be left with bills even if one of the nice people on the phone say you are covered. That's literately so wild to me. 10/10 will never use or pay into HAP again.
I cannot wait until October open enrollment so I can discontinue my membership with this sham insurance provider. Please do not sign up with this provider, they only care about their bottom line, profit margins, whatever and not the health either physical or mental health of their members.
