Terrible experience across the board. From the reception staff to the physicians and leadership team, quality of care and communication deeply disappointing. Please stay away from Dr. Peter Hilger. I was misled and there was a significant lack of appropriate follow-up and negligence of care. I believe this clinic and Dr. Peter Hilger needs to be formally investigated.
I met with PA Gina, I had a disappointing experience during my visit. The PA’s tone was very rough, and she lacked bedside manner. When I explained that I was experiencing sinus issues and difficulty swallowing, she dismissed my concerns, saying, "I don't believe that your issues are related to your nose and throat," and told me to go elsewhere. Thank you to Dr. McDonald in St. Louis Park for doing an earwax cleaning for my badly impacted right ear. The folks at my specialty clinic at HP Phalen scheduled me for a hearing test instead of an earwax removal. They probably wanted to sell me expensive hearing aids. Shame on them!
It has never and never will make sense to me.... do all ENTs require you to do a hearing test before seeing the specialist? I just don't comprehend how making somebody wait 3 months to address their ear pain is all due to needing a hearing test first. Wonder how many people's hearing is worsened by making them wait for CARE! Not a hearing test. You really need my baseline hearing to help with drainage into my throat as a result of your surgery?
