My friend isn't receiving her meds for her physical health while in the adult psych unit. It took her almost passing out before they gave her her oxygen which shes suppose to be on all the time and even when she wasnt able to move at all and screaming in pain they wouldnt do anything about her physical health even though she came in with prescription meds to manage it. My mental health issues only got progressively worse in the short time I went here. I stopped going and just cut my losses and decided to try traditional therapy instead of just being thrusted into medication. Each time I changed my medication I became suicidal immediately. My neurologist was really concerned that they prescribed me Cymbalta so casually without really looking at my medical history. What a shame this place is. My daughter told us that she was going to be let out on Monday, but today the facility called and said that my daughter stayed in her room all day, and for that reason they’re prolonging her stay. Last time I talked to her, my daughter said she wasn’t feeling well and has a cold, and that’s why she was in her room all day. She also said the rooms there are very cold.
