HealthFit is a gorgeous gym with great equipment. Beware though… if you put your membership on hold, it will automatically resume after a certain period of time without them telling you. I had spine surgery & then a work injury & wasn’t working out except for at physical therapy. I didn’t know it, but HealthFit was deducting the monthly membership fee out of my paycheck for months. $240 deducted & they wouldn’t reimburse me for any of it. Card lock access not only to the Briscoe building but the gym itself gives peace of mind. Love the after hours access. I'm usually in there around 10pm and the average is 1 other person (including the building's janitor!). It's always clean. Appreciate the multiple private changing rooms with showers etc. Lockers are a nice touch. Since I work in the hospital it makes it a no brainer. 8 check-ins a month and it's free for hospital employees. Can't speak to the classes and services as I'm not there in the day-time. I climb 14ers and was having severe leg pain when I would get done. I went to a Kinesiologist at Healthfit Gym and was given specific exercises to do. After doing the exercises I was taught I was able to climb 14ers without any leg pain. They do a wonderful job and I recommend them. This was my second time going to HealthFit Gym to work with a Kinesiologist. This time I worked with Joby Stanford and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him.
