I applied for home care , I have severe back and leg problems and provide I provide all info to Medicaid for CPAS, I got approved for homecare from my assessment. NO ONE knows anything when you call as a customer of Health First, with a question. They flub and make things up... after being on hold forever. I have yet to deal with one person who knows the business they are supposed to know. It's as if HF keeps hiring new employees and teaches them how to answer phones and read off pre-scripted lines. This company is really badly run. Their money goes to flyers and promises... not actually serving the people who pay them.
I am a doctor, in practice for over 36 years. Never did I encounter an inurance plan as bad as this one. Their claim processing is inept, bordering on, (if not ouright), fraudulent.Their "customer service" is non-existent. They offer no provider relations support as well. I accepted this plan for 1 year, and it should have been less than that. Outrageous! I'd award them zero stars if possible.

Healthfirst they are the worst you can never speak to a case manager directly the will not give you the direct number to speak with them. You must speak to the resolution team or a team member so who's the case manager? what is their function?.
