This is great insurance if you are healthy and don't get anything out of the norm. Otherwise, you are going to end up paying out of pocket for a lot of medical equipment/costs that other insurance agencies cover as a standard. If I could give them a zero, I would.
Is Zero stars an option? Hot garbage is the best description for this company. They claim to be "advocates" but the only thing they do is work to deny anything they can.
The absolute worst insurance. They have an app but the service is useless. Geared towards sending you to doctors and professions that are not your choice or convenient. Doesn't like to pay out and almost never cover necessary meds or their generic always undermining what doctors prescribe and giving you a list of what you can't have unless you pay out of pocket.
This is a joke of an insurance. I got this from our wirk and wished I never changed. They wanna charge for two medications when a previous insurance would charge for a combo. Reps are incrediably rude and of no help. Try another company for insurance before this one. As soon as I can I am going back to my old insurance.
Would give 0 stars if I could HealthChoice lied to me about how much the cost of a visit to the Urgent Care would be. I had to pay over 3 times the price the agent said over the phone I talked with HealthChoice multiple times and sent a letter in appealing the decision but they denied my appeal. I get being greedy but lying to customers and then charging them 3 times the agreed upon price should be illegal.
