Update: HealthCare Associates was bought by WellMed. All call center staff, reception personnel, and PAs were laid off. Now that's marketing news to share on social media! Got an update via email regarding my online appointment request 2 days ago stating that they are still working on it. Time to change doctors. If you don’t want to get robbed by overcharge and duplicate charge, do not go here. I sent their billing department proof EOB (explanation of benefits showing how much they billed, how much insurance paid and how much patient owe) and proof of payment (credit card receipt) still they sent statements asking for payment. It’s crystal clear from the EOB and Credit card receipt there is absolutely nothing due. Their billing department cares nothing about those proofs and they keep on sending bills.
