I was visiting my mother-in-law yesterday at around 7 pm and she told me she's been sitting in her feces since 5 pm. I get that there are other patients but when no other call bells are happening there is no excuse for someone sitting in their feces for that period of time. When she rang the call bell still took them 30 minutes to answer it. Plus, she is in excruciating pain. It's such a shame that some of the nurses had no good reason or excuse. Horrible wait times. Went to emergency only to leave without being seen 13.5hrs later. Ridiculous. So glad HSN called me a few days later to see how I was doing as I refused to sign myself out with no service provided. Shameful. So glad they wasted my time and charged me for parking. I ended up driving a few hours to another hospital. The other hospital had great, friendly compassionate service, seen almost right away and treated with kindness & respect.

Mismanagement of a concerning health issue regarding a 2-year-old child. I am advocating for other families as well as my own. To begin, he was not provided a proper assessment from the triage department. We were rushed to registration to begin this unfortunate experience. We waited for three hours and witnessed most of those waiting in the waiting room pass us, including one individual who was taking selfies and another celebrating his victory on a mobile game.
