After being referred to emergency be a Dr. I eventually get by a nurse a little bit pissy that "we are the busiest ER, we have no beds, nothing we can do ..." and more or less what do you expect? Another nurse says it's a terrible system that doesn't work nothing can be done. I came here due to a rapidly spreading infection uncontrolled by iv and oral antibiotics that I have been told requires immediate attention to prevent possible serious escalation of the situation. 0 stars, while the staff are kind, the whole expirence I had was trrrible. I went in for extreme back pain, could barely stand or walk, I waited over 10 hours in a filthy environment. Not one time did I see anyone disinfect a chair after use from extremely ill patients, there were multiple people using the washroom to use drugs including smoking crack. I wasn't at emergency. I assisted someone that had day surgery, 3rd floor, as aoon as you walk out of the elevator. The nurse was nice until I was given the patients ID, once she saw his status card her attitude towards him changed! The nurse was really rude to the patient, ignorant to me after that!
