After a routine dentist visit I learned that the insurance I thought was safely on autopay had been canceled due to “nonpayment.” No notice, no heads up, just an unpleasant surprise. What followed was a Kafkaesque series of phone tag with Paramount and the Marketplace, each one telling me to wait a few days for the system to catch up. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. I have had countless issues with them - the most recent being they have my account ‘past due’ despite my bank showing records of the payment posted a month ago. I always pay early. When I call to address it, I am told the individual responsible for that area will give me a call NEXT WEEK. And this isn’t the first time they have pushed me out so long, generally with no follow up. When I expressed frustration with that answer, the customer service rep got an attitude with me. This is a scam. Posed as another provider and charged my card.
The absolute worst dental insurance in the world. Borderline scammers. They cover absolutely minimal anything, fight you on any coverage, and are expensive.
