In the last 3 days I have spent more than 4 hrs on hold with Health Net trying to get the information I need about my account, and this has happened several times before. My employer has verified my coverage but Health Net will let me login one day and then not the next. This is incredibly frustrating and I will cancel my policy tomorrow. Note that of the 10 reviews listed here, 9 give Health Net the LOWEST possible rating!
This is the worst experience I've even had. They set us up with a family dr that is part of an additional group membership and that is charging $200 for subscription per year per person. Is this even legal? And yes, their online platform is the worst! Not reliable at all!
I wish I could give 0 stars. Our Tricare insurance (for military) was administered by a different company and it was great. Since it switched to Healthnet, I have to travel an hour for a GYN appt to be in network. We can’t find a single in-network practitioner for family therapy and mental health for the children in our county. With the stress that military families go through, this is infuriating. They have definitely set the bar for the worst patient care.
Health net is the worst company by far. 1 year 900$ a month did not even help with mri or X-rays. Just tried to charge me 3 extra months of coverage up till today when I cancelled back in December of 2018! Switch everybody as soon as possible! Get away. The customer service is even worse, robotic people who do not even empathize with any situation their company has put their customers in.
