Awful
This has been a trainwreck of a process from beginning to end. They've provided me with multiple appeal denials for a spinal MRI requested by my neurologist. As a physician in her late 70s who specializes in gynecology, I'm relieved that the doctor who denied my claim twice on behalf of the company disagrees with multiple neurologists on what should be covered under insurance. I'm hopeful that she made the board members happy by denying the MRI and fighting the appeal.
This company is AWFUL! I just signed up for them through Covered California and it said there are 20 doctors within 10 miles of me. I then paid them, because they require that before selecting a PCP. I then went to select my PCP and there is in fact only 1 doctor within 10 miles of me, and it's a doctor I refuse to go to. I called their customer service and they had no idea what I was talking about, did not help me at all, and said they can't refund me. It appears I will need to file a dispute with my bank at this point.
This company is the worst.
