In my experience, this pharmacy did not feel welcoming to people of color. The man behind the counter looked at me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable, and the blonde woman assisting me had an unpleasant attitude. I felt as though I was bothering them simply by being there. I’ll be switching to CVS, where the staff is more diverse and I feel more welcomed and respected.
I have been using Bunker Hill Pharmacy since the seventies. For the past few years, my needs have increased. The pharmacists and staff are always professional, kind, and typically ahead of my needs. Stacey, who prepares pill packets and more, is remarkable! I called apologizing for my late request. Her response was, “how about this; it’s all done and ready for you.” I was pleasantly surprised but have learned that she is just that good! A huge thank you to Stacey and all staff and pharmacists at Bunker Hill Pharmacy!
