Health horizons truly is the gold standard of healthcare and support in New Mexico. About 12 years ago I was dealing with tons of health issues. I did not have a good experience with Tracy Valdez. It was my understanding that places liked this really listened and took their time in providing great care. I felt rushed, and there definitely was no listening. Ms. Valdez was condescending. I felt like she laughed at me and didn't believe anything I had in place in making my own situation better. Jacqueline was able to diagnose me with PCOS. She put me on medication. And later this month I will do hormone therapy. My experiences with her are always great. She has a calming energy and is open to hearing your ideas and opinions. I'm lucky to have found her.
Health horizons USED to be a good medical practice when Dr. Komadina was seeing patients. Sadly, not the case any longer. The current FNPs don't know what they're doing, have unapologetically physically Hurt me, and refuse to address any medical condition outside the ones of interest to them personally. They push a bunch of expensive cosmetics and cosmetic procedures of dubious value and avoid treating actual medical conditions like high cholesterol or the ones their "therapies" create (acne, hirsutism).
