I went in specifically requesting extra attention on my neck and shoulders, as those areas have been particularly tense. While the therapist did focus on my upper body, much of the time was spent on areas that weren’t the ones causing me the most discomfort. With about 25 minutes left, I politely asked for more work on the spots that were bothering me most. I loved my massage here with Akala!! They give you aromatherapy & deep tissue with no additional charge (as opposed to a lot of places). I also like that you can request certain areas to focus on & she seemed to know where your knots were & how they were connected to other areas etc. Highly recommend!
Kili and Bea joined us to provide on-site massages at a retreat we organized, and were incredible to work with. Their attentiveness to each guest created a comforting environment, and they were so kind and collaborative during the event. We would definitely work with them again!
