Get directionsI recently spent about 4 hours in the ER at Cape Canaveral Hospital. The people and attention were great. However I am appalled that the registrar comes in while a patient lying in ER ...in pain...nervous about prognosis...in between tests and they ask for payment right there and now. Not only did they ask the neighboring patient but also we were asked. There was a bill already on the text for $750. Absolutely awful experience of one week hospital stay. Other than a few very wonderful nurses, I will just make a few quick bullet points without a lot of detail Communications between staff was awful After 3 improper discharges, while waiting for one last test that got lost in the system, final discharge was marked AMA which messes up insurance, followups, etc Reasons for being brought there by ambulance changed with every discharge which created insurance and followup nightmare Ability to reach a human after discharge is n... read more
DONT EVER take your kids and o this emergency room. I took my 11 month old here because it’s Saturday and his doctor isn’t open today. My baby hasn’t been able to keep anything down since 3 am, we waited an hour to get checked in with the nurse and after checking in with the nurse she told me “he looks fine right now we have to move around people and discharge so it will be a little bit” so we had to go back to the waiting room, which wouldn’t be a problem but then the next 3 people that got there long after me went to check... read more
