Dr. Dang and Jackie are great, but the office staff is untrained, unskilled, and downright RUDE. I've been seeing the providers here for a couple of years, putting up with unanswered phones, 20-minute holds, excuses that their new systems don't work, and bumbling ineptitude; but today was the last straw. Just retired to the Melbourne area and reconnected w Dr. Strub. He was my father’s doctor for several years after his primary care provider retired. Dr. Strub treated my 97-year-old father with respect, dignity, and focus. He listened to my dad! He initiated conversation with my dad during appointments! My experience with Dr. Christofer Zapata was extremely negative. His attitude is rude, dismissive, and highly unprofessional. He shows little to no interest in the patient or respect for their time. Appointments are cut down to the bare minimum around 20 minutes and he insist on addressing only one issue per visit, even when you have a concern for an extra needed evaluation this approach is not only frustrating, but gives the impression that the patient is not a priority. I'm more then appuled with the New My Folder. And worse the pharmacy changed 10day buffer plan on ordering refills. Now has gone to 3 days at best. And since June 1 2025, it takes them 3 to 8 days to refill Rx now
June 26th ER Care was horrible. Waited 4 ++ hours. Discharged without proper medical care/diagnosis. Was in a so called Hallway that was stationed by the Ambulance entrance I saw a several First Responders several times. They had even mentioned that I was still there. Area had non masked people & staff walking around. I was Transfer by family members to another Hospital and was admitted immediately for a week. Worst, Hospital experience that my wife had for 3 days hospital stay. It seems nobody knew my wife medical history, even when we provided it. Medication for other condition was not administered, causing her blood pressure to be high, and causing her colonoscope to be cancelled. The care was nonprofessional, one doctor asking my wife for information that he should have known from the other doctor. This is the second time I've had the displeasure of being admitted to this hospital. I will NEVER EVER go back. There is nothing worse when you ask a simple question (who ordered that medicine)about my health and get a "I don't know " answer. Came in with a head wound from a nasty fall and not once in 2 days NO ONE washed or dressed his head wound. 4 different nurse shifts and not one if them could clean the wound even when asked! I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my wife received from Dr. Adam Close during her hospital stay. From our first interaction, it was clear that he is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely caring. Was there 10 1/2 hours vomiting becoming more dehydrated. Never saw the PA once. After 5 hours asked about how much longer and told I have no time for that. Asked for blanket 4 times never got one. My daughter went home to get one. New computer system. No apologies just rudeness and defensiveness. One nurse named Pat said no time given to be seen in er.
