The front desk receptionists have been awful. Rude. Not helpful. This is not only on one occasion. I have now experienced this three separate times. I also have the same exact thing to say about the Malabar location. I've been scheduled separate appointments at both locations. Not once have I been greeted with any warmth or even helpfulness. The crass attitudes of all women at these desks is beyond me. Don’t waste your time… scheduled the end of 2023. They called the week before the appt and cancelled— said they didn’t have my records. I called back— can I get them sent over and keep my appt? Nope— said Dr Baumbry’s protocol. Fast forward to my appt next week. Got a message today saying a different day and time. So, I call. Office Manager says sorry, we left you a message we needed to change it back in January. I give up… worst office support ever. Staff are friendly, physicians are wonderful! However, lab? Awful! 2 attempts on different days to obtain a lab draw, once an hour wait, second attempt; 1 1/2 hour wait. As I’ve worked in the medical field for more than 30 years I understand how walk in services can become overwhelming for staff, but to be an hour and 1/2 behind @9:30am when you open @8:30am is poor management for the staff, and poor service to the patient. Overcharge, nickle and dime you basically... I've been a patient of Health First for a few years. Recently went to an obgyn and they charged me $146 to remove 1 skin tag and then another charge as a new patient. I shouldn't be charged as a new patient since I've been in your facility for years. We did not go over medical history etc... as that info is in your system. Starting to sense some insurance fraud here.
