Five years ago I had a bad wreck coming off a horse, and separating my shoulder. After initial treatment (surgery, rehab, physical therapy) I still had pain and discomfort. Through a friend I learned about Dr. Nicholas Wu and started treatments with him. Later on Mark Kalmykov RMT joined him, and together they are able to keep my pain and discomfort manageable. Both men are very competent, I jokingly say that they are my torture team, but in a very positive way!
I feel very fortunate to have found such an incredible massage therapist Mark Kalmykov here in Cochrane. He recently moved from Vancouver and brings with him not only a BC Registered Massage Therapy license but also a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with athletic and movement-related injuries. Mark is hands-down the best massage therapist I’ve ever worked with. Deeply knowledgeable, professional, and truly invested in your health. He takes time to explain what’s going on in your body and offers powerful exercises to support long-term healing. After every session, I feel like I’m flying — pain-free and recharged.
