I went to see seeing Janel around 5 or 6 years ago. it was in a period of my life when I felt very stuck and unable to move forward. I had being doing a lot of personal work and knew and understood my issues very well but still felt trapped and stuck by my trauma. Janel is an amazing counselor for a wealth of things you might need help dealing with. She's great a creating a safe space for you to open up.
Over the years i have perused different types of therapies to help navigate early childhood and adult trauma, all have had their positive impact but EMDR administered by Janel has definitely had the most noticeable results. I can speak only from my prospective, but would encourage anyone who struggles with trauma to consider this therapy with Janel as a practitioner. self regulation, impulse control and memory have all had significant improvement.
