I tried other psychologist for talk therapy in the area, and none seemed to really understand what I was looking for to help me. Luckily, I found Healing Psychiatry of Florida. I have been a patient at Healing Psychiatry for over a year, and I am so thankful I found this place. The front desk staff is awesome, and my provider, Alison, has helped me tremendously. If you are truly looking for a good place to start your journey, this is it.

I didn't even get to go in... despite having qualified Insurance and able to pay a $25 copay, this facility wanted a $75 deposit before even scheduling me to see someone. So, $75 deposit than $25 on my visit. I needed 100 dollars out of pocket despite having Insurance. Wow. So much for mental health assistance. Be aware before you even bother wasting the call.

If you or your loved one is sick do not go to this office. The provider Nellie was AWESOME! But, the office staff are VERY rude and racist. They state that they take insurance. But, they really dont. And, today Monday January 13th, hung up on my insurance provider and myself when my insurance provider was attempting to explain to them how my insurance works (that they STATE to "fully" accept and be in network with). To experience this today, was like a scene from a horror movie.

They just kept tossing ssri's with about 2 or 3 other drugs to counteract the side effects. I had a total of 4 nurse practitioners as they kept switching me for reasons unknown. There was one NP that I could tell she honestly cared, but she left the practice(go figure).
