Before every session Dr. Iona’s does an interview in her office. She asks questions about the pain and takes notes. I found this to be useful because it was a good way to review the status of the pain because at times the pain had moved and I struggled sleeping at night. After the interview, you go into the treatment room to treat the area. I started to get relief after the first few treatments. The pain is gone and I am back to normal. Dr. Michelle has been such a blessing to me. I started seeing her for multiple things when I just didn’t know what else to do, and one by one, she’s been helping me to resolve each issue. Shoulder pain from a CrossFit injury 10 years ago, gone. Digestive issues, significantly better. Plus other things along the way that have improved since doing her recommended treatments. I cannot recommend Dr. Michelle Iona enough. I started seeing her for fertility acupuncture, and from the very first appointment she made me feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. She took the time to truly listen to me, not just about my symptoms, but about my whole experience. When i arrived at Healing Points in early February I was in terrible pain both lower back and right leg. Dr. Michelle was not deterred and said "i will get you better". Fast forward to early May and I am pain-free! i had frequency specific microcurrent (FSM) treatments with a combination of specific anti-inflammatory pills and lots of hydration. Healing Points and Dr. Michelle gets my 5 star review.

Dr Iona is absolutely incredible. She worked with my mom and helped her so much. Beyond the results, Dr. Iona is genuinely one of the most caring practitioners we’ve ever been to. She takes her time, truly listens, and makes you feel comfortable and supported from the moment you walk in. You can tell she really cares about her patients and wants them to feel their best. If you’re looking for an amazing acupuncturist who is both highly skilled and deeply compassionate, I can’t recommend Dr. Iona enough.
