I changed vets recently. I was going to a popular vet in Wilmington for years. After having trouble with prescriptions, testing, misdiagnoses, I made the move to change to Dr. Burnett at Healing Hands Animal Hospital. Dr Burnett is knowledgeable in all aspects of her practice. I have a few sickly hens due to all the rainfall lately. One of my hens had a terrible bout of bumblefoot. I had tried for approximately a week to get that cleared. I kept searching and making phone calls trying to find a vet that would treat my hen. I made the call to HHAH and it was the blessing I needed. HHAH was absolutely amazing! They were able to fit us in quickly and figure out exactly what was wrong with our dog. Thankfully it wasn't anything too serious like it could have been, but had it been anything I'm confident she would have been in good hands. Thorough explanation was appreciated about the diagnosis and treatment/follow up care. We waited a while, but I attributed that to us being a same day appointment squeeze in situation to a full schedule that day
Dr Burnett, Chrissy, Heather and all of the staff are super helpful and professional! We highly recommend them for veterinary services!
