They took care of our bird, they were thorough, professional and very nice
Have been meaning to submit this review for a couple years now. They misdiagnosed my dogs cancer as a staph infection. They recommended surgery to cut out the staph infection. If only I had known… this type of tumor (MCT) requires a much different type of care and they likely made it worse by performing the surgery. When they ultimately did biopsy the “staph infection” it took them days after having the results to notify me it was cancer. I took my guinea pig to HEAL, and I left extremely disappointed with the care and communication I received. I brought him in expecting that I might have to say goodbye. He was elderly, and his condition had deteriorated very quickly. After we were brought into an exam room, a veterinary assistant took him to the back to be examined by the veterinarian.
