Sunny bistro right on the river walk and disc golf course (holes 7 and 13). Really friendly people. Outdoor and indoor seating. Fresh home made food, several vegan/vegetarian options! Pictured: massive “Herbivore” burrito. This is a wonderful piece of Portola.

I ordered the chicken wrap it was gross and had maybe 3 pieces of chicken in it and the chicken that was there was dry as a bone and more croutons than anything, but the cookie was good and I gave 2 stars only because they refunded me for the wrap.
Every year my family drives me and my sister up to Headwaters on our way to Walton's Grizzly Lodge Summer Camp. It's basically part of the experience. The owners and staff are all extremely nice, and even if everything isn't the most organized, that's part of the charm to the place. Amazing food for a quick stop by, the burgers are all worth it, and the salads aren't bad either.
