I'd give 10 stars if possible! I'm not a full time resident in SLO, but this gym gives me a reason to consider living there full time! At first I was not sure if this gym was the right fit for me -- there is a lot of big muscle and heavy weights! :) But I'm so glad I said 'yes' to having a tour and a walk around the space. I’ve been training at Headstrong, and it’s hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere is motivating, the equipment is top-notch, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. Whether you’re working on strength, endurance, or just trying to stay fit, the trainers here really know how to push you while keeping things safe and effective. Love this place! The atmosphere is incredible and I love the variety of machines/free weights/outside space. Definitely recommend joining!
Absolutely love this place! Gyms can be intimidating and from my first Small Group Training class, I felt welcomed. Robby and VIjay are amazing trainers who've been excellent guides on my fitness journey. The community here is respectful, friendly, and motivating. I've been going to class here about 6 weeks and it keeps getting better.
6 stars. Headstrong is an impressive facility with an even more impressive coaching staff. Whenever I drop in, I am warmly welcomed by the coach and members and always can count on receiving quality coaching, with extremely effective cues and pointers (that are often new to me, a nearly 12-year CrossFitter). Shout out to Coach Tom who quickly spotted an imbalance during a lift and spent time with me after class assessing it then suggested ways to address and fix it. Really appreciated that.
