Went there for my first counciling session (have been there before). At the end of the session I was told I’d be contacted in 2 weeks to organise a program for them to put me on. Now 3 months later I’ve heard absolutely nothing. This is extremely appalling on headspace and that therapist I saw who have failed to support both myself and many others who are struggling immensely with mental health. The gp at headspace is the most unprofessional gp I have ever seen! Absolute joke. Wait time was ridiculous (over an hour), she was more interested in arguing with me then helping me or listening to me. She mocked me, was rude and overall very unhelpful. She should be fired. I highly recommend you go to your regular gp. Waste of time

Found reception very friendly over the phone, however, wait times are extremely long (months) to just get to the intake interview. THEN, another couple of months to get counselling help, IF they accept you. Is a very long time when you are worried about the safety of your teen. Need to do better. Also promised to call me the next week with their decision, no call. Slack.
