Felt unseen, unheard, gaslighted. Poor levels of empathy here. Very dismissive condescending people. In 2013, the top 20% of Australian incomes was 62% of total wealth share, the bottom 20% of Australian incomes had 0.9% In 2023, the top 20% of Australian incomes was 64% of total wealth share, the bottom 20% shared 0.7% People are struggling as the rich are greedy. There is more than enough to go around
Very bad service doesn't understand me. Better off seeing a professional phsyciatrist. Never coming back!!!! Also lastly asked me a personal question if I have a sexual relationship the phsyciatrist asked me that infront of my support worker very angry with that also said I could come off all my medication if I want and doesn't understand I could possibly be phsycotic off my medication. Terrible never coming back plus threatend to tell my doctor off. Disgusting!!!!
please don’t scare yourself off from getting support with negative reviews! everyone’s experience is different. i attended headspace bentleigh for a one off session and felt more seen and heard by the clinician i had than any other service i have used prior. they were prompt with their response after my referral, and i was only waiting 2 and a half weeks from referral to appointment. i have walked away from it feeling more hopeful than i have about the future of my psychosocial development in a long time!
In my time in their care, I felt very unseen and unheard. By far the worst in that aspect when comparing to other mental health care services I visited. I recommend voicing a need to feel seen and heard when visiting headspace Bentleigh. Very poor experience working with Headspace. I left my experience with them feeling even worse than I did before I entered their services. Very poor critical thinking and empirical reasoning, and instead were very judgmental even to the point of gaslighting and misdiagnosis at times.
