I had a very frustrating experience with Dr. Nijjar's office. My family doctor and my OB-GYN both tried to contact them since I became pregnant. They rescheduled my appointment three times, each time without warning. I understand that doctors can be very busy, so I did my best to find a convenient time for Dr. Nijjar. They do not answer the phone. They do not have an answering machine. They do not have an email. After three months of waiting for my follow up appointment the “doctor” called me ten minutes before my appointment time. The phone rang twice before he hung up. I didn’t even have time to take my phone out of my pocket. He didn’t even have the courtesy to leave me a message. This is not Canadian healthcare. I’m pretty easy going but this isn’t understandable.
March 2026 Update: The clinic has settled in and started to find its "groove". Dr. Nijjar has been very attentive, patient, and compassionate even when he had no definitive answers for me until he can see imaging scans. He's very knowledgeable, and a quick problem-solver, yet knows his limits and is ALWAYS willing to learn. My MRI is finally coming soon after a year.
