I've been seeing Dr. Blitzer for over 30 years, following him from Columbia Presbyterian, to another hospital I forget, to the current location on the 10th floor at 425 W. 59th. If you'd seen the previous clinic environments, you'd wonder why Dr. Blitzer and his colleagues continue to do what they do: the W. 59th St. location is BY FAR the best. The front desk staff can be curt, but Dr. Blitzer's staff is always friendly (as is Dr. B), and without his care, I wouldn't have a voice. So yeah ... the whole deal gets 10 stars fr... read more
Worst people to deal with. Provided insurance information and they never submitted. Sent me a bill after 80+ days. Billed me $750 directly. Sent them insurance again and they sent my bill to collection because they couldn’t get payment from insurance after 90 days. NEVER USE THIS PLACE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! THEY ARE A HORRENDOUS.
Doctor Sands decided to share a scheduled surgery with his colleague, Doctor Nambar. Nambar walks in the office and repeats same procedures already explained by Sands for about 2 mins and leave. Weeks later I get a bill for 2 different Doctor visits, stating that the visits were level 3 and 4 and 2 mins of Namdar's time (that I've never asked for it) was going to cost me alone $225 + $750 for Noah's part. Billing department refuses to change charges.
This place is a rip off. They will charge you significantly more that your insurance will cover and bill you even when in-network. Do not use them
The 5 stars is for my doctor only! Zero star for the front desk. The front desk is incompetent and I lost half a day of work as a result. I arrived at my appointment time to be told my doctor left for the day. It was before noon! I reluctantly left infuriated. Dr. Kizhner was my doctor and he was kind to call me in time personally and scheduled me back in. I saw Dr. Kizhner for my sinus problem.
