Got there early and walked out to the lighthouse. Very cool, wish I could have went up in it but it is fine, seems that many are not allowing that anymore anyway. Not sure if they allow that here or not. Steep ladder well and slippery rocks but not hard. We did stop and pay on the way back through. I am sure I could have just kept walking and not paid but I wanted to contribute to it being preserved.
I definitely dilly-dallied too long and got caught with the tide coming in and I was in water up to my calfs. BUT SO WORTH IT! Absolutely loved this adventure. 🩵
Is nice there is a sign posted telling what the low rise timing is. Would hate to be trapped over there for 8 hours.
