These “know it alls” refused to load a Scissor lift that only weighed 4000lbs on my 1/2 ton truck that is rated to tow 12,900lbs, on my trailer that’s rated to tow 9,990lbs. Even showed them manufactures towing capacity chart, trailer registration listed capacity and they still refused. Ended up having to get a flatbed company to load it then transferred it to my trailer right in front of their storefront. Went thru the TX/LA State patrol weigh station and they had no issue, hauled it 3 hours home no problem.
