Dr is great was one of my favorites however office staff northwest free way in cypress billing department is horrible. what was told to me is that my insurance covered all off it but my co pay of 60.00 eve made them call the billing department while I was there in front of me. Came back with same answer of you will only owe your co pay of 60.00 now 3 months later I am getting hit with a bill of 1721.00 because they did not say this will go towards your deductible the whole point in asking for a pre authorization and to find ... read more

I brought my child to the ER last night with a fever and vomiting. The doctor told us that because we were “outside the treatment window” for flu and COVID, they wouldn’t even test her—adding that “that’s not what the ER is for.” I ended up paying $600 for a visit that provided no answers and no real evaluation, and we were sent home still not knowing what was wrong with my child. If you’re seeking real care or basic diagnostic effort, do yourself a favor and take your loved ones somewhere else.

Went to night time emergency Room!I had a Widow maker Heart Attack there in Nov 19 2024! And at day surgery a pace maker 3 weeks ago! I had two glasses of wine, thought I was having another heart attack! Having a Panic Attack, I was crying and asking for Help! The lady at the Desk Computer thought I was Drunk! So see got the attending MD to do a catscan, to see if I had a stroke! It came back negative! I laid there 4 hours and finally they released me! This place is ridiculous.  I am a 71 yo woman who went through the ER during a visit to Houston after a very bad head injury from a fall. They did  No X-ray, no CT, just a tetanus shot and salve on my face.  I've called their billing department multiple times and asked to speak to someone who can address their poor quality of care.  I asked twice for a case review and for a phone number to speak with someone in that department.  No response from anyone.   When I returned to Lubbock, I had to visit my PCP, have a CT,  and see... read more

HCA Medical Center. One week post-op from cardiac electrophysiology mapping study and atrial ablation. 5 stars. Pre-registration (thank you Shirley!) to check-in, all staff was amazing, friendly, and professional. A big thank you to the cath lab team, pre-op nurse Stephanie, Dr. Chaplain, and of course Dr. Burkland. I felt at ease, I was listened to, allowed to participate in my care, and felt comfortable. My husband had a positive experience in the wait lounge.

My son was admitted to the ER last February by ambulance after a full cardiac arrest. He was intubated and on a ventilator. When we arrived, about 45 minutes had passed. He must have been stabilized because no one was present with him in the room. He was lying in a pool of blood surrounded by filthy equipment. Under his stretcher was a pool of blood that was nearly dried. the staff was very courteous & professional, waited 10 minutes, assessed & treated in less than an hour.... pain came from stupid REGISTRAR MACHINE , quoted $60.00 fee for visit with 20% discount for paying....tried paying with 2 different cards, both declined...pushed HELP & waited for lady to come on & tell me that Alvin doesn't offer discount, but just run my card again... NOPE ! screen says $60 & was offered $48 for immediate payment! change the screen or I 'm not running card... do you have any paperwork with that on i... read more
