I have always had only good things to say about Twin Cities. Today, I went to the ER. I have had a lot of congestion, an awful sore throat, fever as high as 101. What really made me decide I needed to get checked was my urine being very brown. I went in and saw them. I told my symptoms. They did three swabs. One for Covid, one for strep and one for the flu. Not as good as they claim to be. I can't say what happened to me here but it was very serious. I hate the ER. I would rather be admitted than deal with it. I do not recommend
RecommendedTwin Cities Hospital always exceeds my expectations. The nursing staff in pre-op were attentive and calming. I did not get their names but truly appreciated them. The nursing staff on the floor after surgery were responsive and helpful. I didn’t expect to find myself back at ER two days later, but there I was. They were overflowing with patients, yet Dr. Nodine took extra time to really listen to me and I am very grateful for his calming presence that evening. I had an mri scheduled. I got a call to pay my 20 percent since my deductible has been met. I payed it right then, then i get a bill for $185. I called, I was told my insurance didn’t pay as much as the hospital anticipated. They said it was just an estimate. Noo one told me, i might have to pay another $185 later. If I would of known I would if had to pay almost $400 I probably wouldn’t if had it done. I payed my part! I should not be billed for more!!! Rediculas. When we got here the check in ladies were super sweet. We come to this ER because they are caring people. On this visit the triage nurse was very rude told me that this was an issue for urgent care, she is gonna put a mask on cause she doesn’t want to get sick, when they seen my daughter was being seen well you really should go to the regular Drs if more than one person in your family sick.
