I do not understand how this stand alone ER has a 4.8 stars. I was there last night and I had the most horrible experience. The nurses and the Dr. were very dismissive. I got there in terrible pain and left in terrible pain. I skipped out on going to the Manatee Memorial stand alone because they were packed but I regret doing that. I have always gone to a Manatee Memorial stand alone and they are absolutely amazing!!! I will never return to HCA again!!!
The best staff ever from the security thru the Doctor! I highly recommend this ER! Every single staff was awesome. Keep doing the good job Dem
Amazing experience. Was in and out in less than an hour. Within minutes of being brought back my X ray was being taken by Alex who was gentle and proficient. Nurses Kim, Darlene, and Kathy worked together to ensure I was taken care of. Dr. Brooks came in my room and immediately started taking care of me.
First time here, was under the care of Dr. Brock and was very disappointed. I had a similar medical emergency months earlier and went to SMH where the nurse I saw immediately addressed the pain and sent me home with paperwork for a follow up and information on specialists in my area. Dr. Brock let me leave in pain and I had to continue tending to myself with at-home remedies. We had a small accident in the evening and had to get checked out. I was dreading it for me and my kids. We live near by and decided to see if they would help us. They did not disappoint. Everyone was very welcoming and attentive. Everything is new and there was no wait. If you are in the area and need care go there. Thank you to the staff that took care of us
