I went in for the first time ever and the dr was super rude with his comments. I told everyone my situation and what I went through in the past month and that I was immune compromised. They proceeded to do the procedure and gave me a tetanus and ended up going to the ER in Casselberry the next day with a bad reaction to the antibiotics and shot. Horrible experience and will never go back.
I cut my cornea and i went to my usual Urgent care across the street from this ER and it closed down. I ended up at HCA Mt Dora/Eustis. This place is very nice, clean, well maintained with a great staff. The doctor who treated me was knowlegable and skilled with an excellent bedside manner. Although his isn't a cheap Urgent Care I was so glad I went here and will be paying the ER cost just to be treated here as I felt at ease and I usually hate hospitals.
Place is a joke. Billing is ridiculous!!!! No one in there because of the billing. Went in no wait saw doctor that did nothing and just got a shot and the bill was $1400. After they told us the bill was $400 paid in full that we paid there. Hospital bill and then doctor bill. Doctor wants $678 for less than 1 mins visit. NEVER AGAIN!!! STAY AWAY!!!! I WOULD GIVE LESS IN REVIEW IF COULD!!!!
Great experience. I thought it was a good idea to trip on a crack in the sidewalk and fracture my leg. I got taken back right away when i arrived. My nurses (Mike&Jennifer) were great and had good bedside manner. Doctor was informative and even showed me the xray where the fracture was. This stand alone ER is SO much better then the UFHealth one.
