For the most part it was good. The only drawback was the triage nurse on duty. When asked about past surgeries I told her I had 9, 4 of which were cesarean sections. She told me it's just having babies, it's not surgery. I'm sorry but when you sedate me and cut me open, I call it surgery. I felt as if she just dismissed me.

It was a horrible experience. I went in to the Emergency Room due to major swelling and redness in both my legs ankles and feet. The doctor came in and kept it very short. All she did was touch my leg and foot and stated it was because of the "heat" and that it was edema. No other testing was done and she stated they would wrap my legs up and I'd be on my way out the door. Dropped a 500lbs tree branch on my leg and was in excruciating pain. Doctor advised to take x-rays to determine if it was broken. I was informed I would receive pain medication and never did. I was taken back to a room and discovered that they had the wrong patient, me, to the wrong place. Eventually the doctor presented the X-rays which indicated the leg was not fractured, which made me happy, but I never received any treatment or instructions for the leg, nor pain management. My husband was admitted through the ER via ambulance. From the EMT with Sunstar to Marjorie the friendly admission clerk to Lisa, our fabulous ICU nurse our experience was nothing short of efficient and professional. The hospital is newly renovated and very clean

Our visit to the ER started off fine but unfortunately took a turn for the worse when Dr. Paul Steele addressed us in an extremely unprofessional and disrespectful manner. Without any provocation, he stormed into the room and loudly told us that "this is not an urgent care, but an ER." We had not said or done anything to warrant this reaction — we had simply opened the door to check if anyone was nearby as we were waiting for our discharge instructions.
