The only reason I gave them one star is because it won’t let me review them without it. I came here for follow up lab work because something wasn’t right in the lab work I had done yesterday. The doctor’s office called and said you need to get lab work done today and at 7:38 a.m. they sent a fax to this place ordering labs. So I put all my plans for today on hold and drove the 35 minutes to get here (this is about 1:00 p.m. ) and the guy at check-in desk says they don’t have the order. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION FOR LAB WORK. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A HOSPITAL FACILITY FEE. I HAVE BLOODWORK DONE ROUTINELY AND MY PORTION IS GENERALLY $100-$130, HCA BILLED MY INSURANCE FOR THE LABWORK/PATHOLOGY($900- MY PORTION $101.74) AND FOR THE HOSPITAL FACILITY FEE??? ($9200 MY PORTION $802.78).. I THOUGHT IT WAS AN ERROR- NOPE-- THEY CAN AND DO DOUBLE CHARGE. THEY DO NOT TELL YOU IN ADVANCE AND MY ESTIMATED COST WAS $132.00. GO TO QUEST OR LABCORP. The intake rep Kowanda…..is not a nice or kind person. The way she talks down to patients is unacceptable. If she can’t handle patients needing to make sure their info is correct without getting an attitude and trying to make it a patient problem then she needs to be put where she doesn’t have patient interaction.
The facility was clean and the staff were friendly. Kowanda checked me in for labs and was particularly friendly and professional. Brianna, phlebotomist, was kind, skillful and considerate.
