After waiting at a local walk-in clinic for over 2 hours, and being passed over by people that had "called ahead", I rushed over to the Largo Medical Center in Clearwater. From the moment I walked in, I was assisted by a friendly woman that helped me sign in, and I had barely walked into the waiting room when my name was called. I was lead to a treatment room and was treated by very friendly and courteous medical professionals. They stopped the bleeding, sutured up my thumb and gave me a tetanus shot. I was very pleased with the staff and their kindness to make me feel comfortable from the XRay tech to my privet Nurse and a wonderful Dr. you guys rock. Thank you all again for taken wonderful care of me. �
Daughter's friend went to the Clearwater ER last night at 2 am. He's 22 and was having chest pains and his arms were numb. They did nothing for him told him it was probably an anxiety attack and he was too young to have heart problems. About 6 hours later he wwas found dead. Those people don't care and are responsible for killing a 22 year old kid. He was in and out of there in 30 minutes no EKG or nothing. This is the worst hospital ever and that doctor needs to lose his license
I can't say enough positive things about my experience! They got me back right away, the place is immaculate & the entire staff was friendly, informative & fast!
Worst ripoff i have ever seen. I go there for a bad sinus infection. They charge me 250 dollars and tell me that is all i will be billed. A month later i get a bill for 1200 dollars and my insurance paid for all but 130. I paid that and get another bill for 121 dollars which i was told was for the doctor. They put in collections and it affected my credit score. I would not go this place ever again. Major RIPOFF.
This ER was the best ER experience I have ever had. (And with 4 kids, that's saying a lot) Our nurse was amazing with our young son and Dr Clark was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. As we hope to never return, we know we will be in great hands if we ever do. My first choice for help now. Thank you.
Terribly unprofessional staff. Don't waste your time or money going here.
