I would not recommend HBE to anyone. I was a long time customer until they made mistakes on our taxes. When the IRS caught HBE’s big mistake I brought it to their attention. HBE failed to do anything to make up for the mistake. I paid the IRS penalty and all HBE would do is amend my taxes to fix their mistake. I spoke with one of the partners at HBE who made it sound like they were doing us a favor by amending our taxes. Careless accounting from the top down.
