Dr. El Khatib is an amazing surgeon, and a very caring person. He spent over an hour with me and my husband explaining the surgery, what to expect, and any options we may have. He took very good care of my husband who had a triple bypass 2 weeks ago. I can't say enough about this incredible man.
I like Dr. El-Khatib very much as a human being, and I believe he's a good surgeon. But unfortunately between his office, Dr. Omar Awais' office, and Dr. Stephen Hussein's office (all in Monroeville), my mom's cancer surgery has been put so far back, and I have to say something. There's been such poor communication between the 3 offices that it's very unfortunate, and it's cost us precious time. I really hope, it hasn't cost her, her life.
