Initially, my family felt Hazelwood would be a good fit for my mom, but over the past two months of her nearly six month stay, my opinion has declined sharply. While I believe my mother is safe, and her basic needs are being met, I have significant concerns about this facility. I had the opportunity to cut hair here for a client in memory care at this center and the staff greeted me graciously and made me feel welcome. They also made it comfortable to care for this client that I had been cutting hair for before she entered into memory care and we were truly grateful to them for making it possible! Thank you Hazelwood!
My mother has fallen so many times at this facility. They do not staff enough people or properly train the caregivers. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone.
