My grandparents moved into Hazeldean Gardens in 2020. My Grandmother passed away shortly after moving in so for the most part my Grandfather was the only one living there. Over his three years there, he furthered into his dementia a significant amount and we knew he was going to need LTC soon. He was on the waitlist for 5 homes but my mom still received an email from the DOC saying that my Grandfathers behaviours were becoming problematic. What were his behaviours? Dear Management Staff of HG, It has been 2 months since my parents, moved into HG. You have no idea how your friendly environment, loads of activities and great food has meant to, not only my parents, but to me. It was an extremely difficult time leading up to the move and my biggest worry was that they wouldn’t be happy. Nothing could be further from the truth!
