I needed the disk of a scan that was done at 34 S Bedford Rd. Took 3 days for it to be ready. (Most places give it to you w/in an hour of the scan.) I picked it up only to find out the disk was empty. My surgeon's office called. (I heard her do it.) The disk was not sent per promise. I called and they said nobody had contacted them. They burned another disk and I picked it up the next day. That disk was also empty. What has happened to Caremount? They were once the best. Now?????? Will find somewhere else to get tests done.

The latest marketing email we received from Optum had the subject, "We're here when you need us." This is false. Call wait times are over 30 minutes in many instances. They are not there when you need them.

They need to get more staff. IT TAKES HOURS OF PHONE CALLS to get a checkup. Doctors there are excellent. Customer services is appalling. They are becoming a monopoly, owned by an insurance company (Optum is part of United Healthcare.) Insurance companies are designed to deny care. Certainly waiting on hold for hours will deter people from making appointments, therefore, the insurance company won't have to pay. What a scheme. Evil geniuses!
