The place has potential, and maybe it was an off night. However, the food was not good. The fried chicken was burnt and the cinnamon in the collards were uncalled for and super strong with the entire stick in it. The egg in the Bolgogi Bowl was over cooked and rubber textured. The short ribs in it were tender. The cornbread was pretty decent when topped with their butter mixture. The vibe was very chill…it is counter service, with picnic table outside. Maybe a good place to drink, but so many better options in Asheville.
The food and drinks are solid and I like the indoor and outdoor seating options. The thing that holds me back from 5 stars is it always takes at least 20 minutes to order and sometimes 30 or more. So you just really gotta be prepared to wait.
Amazing food!! I went here after being impressed with their large list of vegan options online and was very pleasantly surprised! The food was very flavorful and appreciated the large of a quantity of food that you receive for a very fair price! The atmosphere was also very cute and earthy. My only complaint is that it bc it was so busy, it did take quite a long time to receive our food. However, it was worth the wait. Will definitely go back!
Card reader wasn’t working, guy at the register seemed peeved. We just ordered a ginger beer. Not enough options for non-drinkers who don’t like the taste of alcohol.
I track calories and an app found this spot after I took a picture of my food. The grilled chicken sandwich had good protein and fit my daily goal. The restaurant service was fast and the outdoor tables are nice.
